Rivers and streams continue running at a good level and rate.  Soil is in great shape moisture-wise with 1.45" of rain over the past week.  Gardens are doing well, a plentiful crop of pears evident on the pear trees. Snail and slugs are becoming more active and the bees are very active.  Ground hogs continue to make their presence known and bear are out in the neighborhood.
