Station Number: CT-TL-27
Station Name: Willington 2.7 SE
Report Date: 7/14/2025
Submitted: 7/13/2025 8:57 PM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
Since last week's report, a total of more than 2.5 inches of rain fell here, raising conditions from Moderately Dry to Near Normal. While the ponding in a nearby field has not returned, lawns have turned more green, with markedly fewer areas in yellow or light brown. Fire danger has fallen to low in the majority of the State, including this area. There is little change in business activity or produce production from local fields, as corn and tomatoes continue to grow steadily, with local raspberry, blueberry and peach production back. Wildlife activity remains moderate, with a deer sighted last week on a road less than a mile from here.
Water level at the nearby reservoir has risen more than 25% since the last report.
