Notes: |
The largest (grapefruit size) stone was preserved by Roger Smith, 108 N. Wyndemere Lakes Drive, Moore 73160, in whose yard that hail stone fell. This is only about 200 feet north of my official observation location. Hailstones in my yard (mostly 1.5 inch diameter) were about 1 to 1.5 feet apart. |
