Notes: |
I was driving eastbound on I-94 this morning between Snelling Avenue and Dale Street when I encountered the hail. Actually I debated whether it was really hail or sleet? Most of it looked exactly like Sleet (small white round pellets about 1/8" in diameter). Some of the pellets looked like tiny hail stones, but most looked like sleet. It was a very small amount mixed in with the rain on my windshield, with the heaviest concentration around I-94 and Lexington Avenue, in St. Paul. I was traveling 55 MPH, so I can't give you any time or duration information. |
