No indentation pad at this location. Approximately 4 minutes into a thunderstorm that lasted an hour from inside a steel building the hailstones were heard. Opening the east facing door observed the small sample within a couple steps away. The largest being 3/8", consistent with the historical pounding sounds made without a coinciding strong wind. Guesstimate at 4-8" spacing? |
