My first hail report. No time for hail pad, gathered some stones and took photo. The two largest stones that I was able to gather were 7cm (2.75") and 6.3cm (2.5")at their widest point as measured using the photo and guide lines based upon my yardstick also in the photo. I can not offer a time frame on when the different sized hail fell. I was running through the house turning off electronics when I heard the pounding on the roof. I have some in my freezer, was going to dispose of. Let me know ASAP if someone wants them. Will assess damage in a little while and amend report. I have made my changes and blanks filled in, 7-25-18. The angle the stones fell is just an educated guess based on the sounds of the wind and stone impact. My report is now complete to the best of my ability. |
