Loud pounding on house and pinging on windows woke me up. I can't answer a lot of the questions because it was dark out and I didn't see it well. Just the loud sound of hail pounding and it sounded like ice cubes cracking. So far have found ground covered in green leaves and piles of hail that remain in lawn and ground-cover. That is the size I am reporting - don't know if they did any melting in the meantime. As to when the rain fell I have no idea since I was sleeping when it started. Another small shot of hail came down again at 1 am of 6/5. Haven't looked at roof yet, car was in the garage... 5 of 15 alium are on the ground, the rest survived with damage. other plants are variously mashed down or unscathed. Trees ok even with all the leaves on the ground. many more stayed on. |
