Notes: |
Unusal storm, hail would fall for a few minutes then stop and start again after short intervals, accompanied by heavy rain and severe lightning. Several Hailstones fell that were over the 1.25 inch size but was unable to retrieve to measure them. Also large soft pieces fell that looked to be over 1.5 inches but splattered when hitting the ground like snowballs. Rain total over .7 inch so far with a good portion of the hail bouncing out of the gauge. Will provide hailpad info when pad is retrieved. |
