7950' elevation. Still coming as I send this at 35 minutes but looking more like wet corn snow now. Started with lots of lightning & thunder right after filing the 7 am "misty-only" report. Started small, got bigger, and then diminished in size again (but never larger than pea size). Most were "cone" or "top" shaped; larger ones more like little snowballs of corn snow. Ground completely covered to measurable depth. No damages because it was small and fairly soft. Temperature dropped from 41 to 38 degrees during this half-hour, and direction of fall varied over time. |
