Notes: |
Heavy clouds started rolling in around 2 PM and then at 2:55 the skies opened up with lightning and thunder and rain with pea sized hail. After a short lull in the hail the storm quickly intensified into a torrential downpour with larger hail up to grape sized and quickly flooded my ravine which is now a large stream. Hail tapered off at 3:25 but rain continued.
This was almost 1.5 inches of rain in less than 25 minutes. Heavy rain continues at time of report. Significant weather report also sent due to large amount of rain in a short period of time. No hail pad at this location. |
