RAin Hail and Snow!
Rain, light at first, then heavier as thunder approached from the west. A few slushy rice-sized pellets came first, lasting about 2 minutes, then more consistent white peas, then the occasional semisoft whopper rounded out the last 2 minutes, with a swift transition to clumpy white snow for the finale. Cloud to ground lightning nearby throughout. 0.35" of liquid precip fell before the hail, 0.04" fell during the hail and before the snow. Currently a snowy slushy mix of clear ice sleet, snow, and light rain, as the lightning winds down. |
