Notes: |
I observed from inside and hail that fell on windowsill. Began sharply with rain at 4:51, still going at time tornado warning for Denver came in ? about 5:10pm. Then I went to basement until 5:30 and no hail when I emerged, so don't know length of hail. Hail depth I can at see at 5:45 is about 1/2-3/4", but has been melted by very heavy rain and hot gravel it landed on. No hailpad, just open 1/2" gravel. Flooding in usual areas of my yard; rain was extremely heavy at time, over 1" (can't see bottom of outer cylinder) in 45 min. |
