Alleghany Co. was under a severe thunderstorm warning at the time. Winds gusted 25-30 mph just prior to onset of storm. Only few pieces of hail were spotted about eight minutes after it began to rain. Hail lasted less than lasted a minute. About 10 minutes after initial amount of hail, another few pieces of pea-sized hail fell, again lasting under a minute. |
