Heard 1st thunder at 1:05 PM; followed by a few splats of rain (essentially none) before hail started. Minor hail for 1st 5 minutes (pea-sized), but by 1:25, was hailing very hard, larger (3/8-1/2"), and accumulated rapidly on ground. Continuous hail for 20 minutes; transitioned to rain by 1:40 PM; then continued raining with patches of sun shining. Only a few lightning/claps of thunder throughout. Total rain accumulation for storm (~1 hr total) was 0.38". |
