Notes: |
Crazy weather again.... Dark clouds rolled in just before 4 PM with strong winds and lightning and rumbles of thunder. I also happened to be doing maintenance on my weather station anemometer at the same time! Made a hasty decent off the ladder just in time for lightning and then hail. The temperature quickly dropped from the 50's to 32 degrees in about 10 minutes during the "hail" and it was hard to tell if it was hail, graupel or snow or a mix of all of the above. Hail was heavy enough to accumulate on the ground. Lightning and rain continues as of time of report. NO HAILPAD AT THIS LOCATION. |
