Two brief periods of hail during svr storm Sunday evening. Initial period was appx. 5:15, lasting about a minute, followed by a few seconds of additional hail three or so minutes later. Wind gusts associated with storm were measured by an anenometer (sited at 15 feet and sheltered) to 25mph, though 10m gusts probably approached 50mph at height of storm. Worst of storm went to the north, where nickel hail was reported to NWS. |
