Spotter report was made to NWS office at 4:45 PM ADT. I took the call. Hail and very heavy rain fell in an area from Dimond Blvd to Raspberry Rd, between Jewel Lake Rd and Arctic Blvd. The Cb was watched from the NWS office and tracked on radar. Maximum radar intensity 52 dBz. No thunder occurred with this shower, which began over southeast Anchorage and moved north-northwest to Knik Arm, where it weakened. |
