Notes: |
I teach at Skyline High School in Longmont. This is the location of this report. It began hailing about 10 minutes before the tornado warning was issued for Longmont. The hail had a pea-sized pellet surrounded by layers of clear ice. Around the outside of the hail stone was a white layer of ice. The largest pieces wer about the size of a half-dollar. What an exciting day!!! |
