Notes: |
Unusual weather event, strong cell popped up early morning with lightning and heavy hail. Hail started with minimal rain, large soft pellets quickly transitioned to hard stones with the majority in the grape size with quite a few much larger stones mixed in. Hail was extremely intense for about 10 minutes with it quickly covering the ground. Not much rain fell during this storm. Unfortunately this storm stripped most of the blooms off of our flowering plants:-( No hail pad at this location, have always had problems with birds(??) damaging the foil when mounted. |
