At home we had thunder and rain during the early pm, but a friend who stopped at the Wayne County recycling center near Beach Lake, PA (18405) brought back a container of grape-sized hail that had shredded leaves there. She arrived there about 2:30 pm. A 2nd thunder storm, ca. 5 pm brought a short burst of hail to Milanville, a mile north, but not here. A friend who was there reports the Milanville hail was about "pea size." |
